All war is a symptom of man's failure as a thinking animal.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

To preach morality is easy, to establish it is difficult.

What is required now is complete mutual understanding, not just tolerance and patience. In the future, complete understanding is necessary. Human beings must be able to recognize that their faith has developed within a certain culture and that it determines their thoughts and ideals.
